Contractor Terms of Engagement

1. Introduction

By entering into this agreement, you ("Contractor") acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions to provide household support services under the MumEase brand. This agreement outlines the nature of your engagement, responsibilities, and boundaries.

2. Independent Contractor Status

  • You are engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee of MumEase.
  • You are solely responsible for your own tax, superannuation, insurance, and legal obligations.
  • You must hold a valid ABN, public liability and provide required documentation (e.g., identification, police check, Working with Children Check).

3. Work Opportunities

  • MumEase does not guarantee a set number of hours or clients.
  • Work is allocated based on demand, location, availability, and suitability.
  • Either party may end the engagement at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Client Confidentiality & Conduct

  • You agree to treat all client information as strictly confidential.
  • You must behave professionally and respectfully during all services.
  • Any complaints, incidents, or issues must be reported to MumEase immediately.

5. Non-Solicitation of Clients

  • You must not directly solicit, accept, or offer services to MumEase clients outside of the MumEase platform.
  • This restriction remains in place for 12 months after your engagement ends.
  • Breaching this clause may result in immediate termination and legal action.

6. Service Standards

  • You agree to follow all MumEase guidelines, safety standards, and service protocols.
  • Failure to meet expectations or follow instructions may result in removal from the platform.

7. Intellectual Property & Brand Use

  • All brand materials, training resources, and service tools remain the property of MumEase.
  • You must not use the MumEase name or materials for your own commercial or competitive purposes.

8. Liability

  • You agree to perform all services with care and diligence.
  • You release MumEase from liability for any injury or damage unless.

9. Agreement & Acceptance

By signing or submitting this agreement, you confirm that you understand and accept the terms set out above. This agreement is legally binding and governs your relationship with MumEase as an independent contractor.
